Please note that these are unframed, unsigned, 'Open Edition Artist's Prints', printed at high resolution on heavy 225 gsm, Canon Embossed Art Paper, from my Canon gicleé printer, using UV resistant pigmented inks, hence they are lightfast. Description:

The sheer frustration when the cause has no effect and thus the result prevents one from gratifying certain impulses, desires and achievement of goals. Deprived of effectiveness, baffled, defeated and naked in life, the model Lorena looks dejectedly at the ground in her baron mental and physical environment.

"The torment of human frustration, whatever its immediate cause, is the knowledge that the self is in prison, its vital force and 'mangled mind' leaking away in lonely, wasteful self-conflict"

The figure and landscape are painted entirely in 'Italian Pink' transparent paint, applied more heavily to darken the colour, over a very light three tone 'Naples Yellow' background which was painted with a knife and faded light to dark from top to bottom.
