Arti was born in India in a ’small town at the foothills of Himalayas’ – where the sights, sounds and people there inspired her to paint from an early age. She then moved to New Delhi after her graduation where she pursued a career in illustration and computer animation for 15 years. In 2011 she relocated with her family to Hampshire in the UK. It was this move that gave her time to reflect and inspired her to take up painting full time.
Arti exhibited first in a solo show in Basingstoke, the success of which led her to then exhibit through online galleries, enabling her to connect with people all over the world. She now exhibits with the International Watercolour society participating in various global events. Arti has also represented England in recent years in the Fabriano Aqualrello watercolour event which is held in Italy. Now concentrating on creating images of wildlife, Arti’s work has won numerous competitions due to her incredible talent and ever evolving style.
