In this session  Using colour and contrast, learn how to depict the importance of nature in our urban surroundings.

About the artist:     Lisa studied art in Johannesburg (BA Fine Art Hons) and has many years experience as an artist, gallery owner, curator and educator. Simple elements and colours in nature inspire their work. She loves the combination of geometric and organic shapes which form the basis of  abstract works. "Painting abstracts allows me to work intuitively, creating layers of evocative shapes, textures and colours. The challenge is to capture a moment and to create a visible beauty"

On a general note:

Our classes provide a relaxed and enjoyable introduction to creative skills, including various painting techniques. They offer an opportunity to learn something new, socialize with like-minded individuals, and have fun!

Throughout the class, an experienced artist will provide step-by-step guidance, showcasing their techniques through live demonstrations. You'll create your own artwork under their expert tutelage, and take it home with you afterwards. All materials are included, and we'll even take care of the cleanup!

Our classes are perfect for group activities with friends, individuals seeking new acquaintances, or work colleagues looking for team building exercises. Held in our contemporary and stylish gallery, our classes comfortably seat up to 12 people, and last for 2 hours, during which refreshments are provided.

Private Events are available for groups of between 8 and 12 people in our gallery. We also conduct private events in corporate venues with no limit on numbers. Choose any artwork from our extensive library here Events Gallery
