In this session, children will learn how to paint a Kangaroo. Each participant will be guided step-by-step by Wildlife Artist Daren Mason, who will help them to create their own unique piece of art.  At the end of the session, children will be able take home a beautiful painting to be proud of for years to come.

Suitable for children between the ages of 8 to 12. Younger children, who are especially interested in painting are able to attend, however please contact us prior to booking.  No previous experience of painting is required this class is suitable for all abilities.

About the Artist - Daren Mason

After graduating from the Norwich School of Art and Design with a degree in illustration, Daren set a studio up in London. He worked mainly as an editorial illustrator and spent 20 years freelancing for advertising agencies. Projects ranged from animation to creating murals for Swatch at Harrods and Heathrow Airport. Daren is passionate about the natural world and it provides an endless source of inspiration for his work.

On a General Note

• Designed as an introduction to painting, our classes are relaxed and enjoyable offering a chance to learn a new skill, meet new friends and have fun, all in a high end art gallery!
• The duration of each class is 2 hours, during which refreshments will be available.
• During each class you will receive step by step guidance by an established artist who will give a live demonstration and help you create your own artwork which you can then take home. All materials are included and we even do the cleaning up!
• Ideal as a group activity with friends, for individuals looking to meet like-minded people or as a team building exercise for work colleagues, our classes are held in our gallery which offers a contemporary, stylish setting with comfortable seating for up to 12 people.

Private Events are available for groups of between 8 and 12 people in our gallery. We also conduct private events in corporate venues with no limit on numbers. Choose any artwork from our extensive library here Events Gallery
