In this session, you will learn how to paint a robin, focusing on the use of colour to portray depth within the painting. You will learn about warm and cool colours and how they are used to bring objects to the front and using cooler colours in the background. We will also add volume by creating shadows and highlights. Each participant will be guided step-by-step by artist, Daren Mason, who will help them to create their own stunning robin painting. By the end of the session, you will come away with a beautiful portriate to take home and be proud of.

This class is suitable for adults. No requirements for prior experience, this class is suitable for everyone, from absolute beginners to budding artists and hobbyists.

Designed as an introduction to creative skills such as different painting techniques, our classes are relaxed and enjoyable offering a chance to learn a new skill, meet new people and have fun!

During each class you will receive step by step guidance by an established artist who will help you create your own artwork which you can then take home. All materials are included and we even do the cleaning up!

Ideal as a group activity with friends, for individuals looking to meet like-minded people or as a team building exercise for work colleagues, our classes are held in our gallery which offers a contemporary, stylish setting with comfortable seating for up to 12 people.

Duration of classes is 2 hours during which refreshments will be available.
