Nancy Chamber is a Bristol-based artist whose work celebrates the ephemeral beauty of nature—soft petals, glowing fruit, and shifting seascapes. Painting since childhood, she turned professional in 2019, later exhibiting alongside renowned artists like Grayson Perry and Anish Kapoor.

Her rich life experiences—from hat design in Leicester to charity leadership in London—inform her creative perspective. She works intuitively, blending acrylics, texture, and inventive techniques (such as painting with needles or handmade tools) to evoke feeling over strict realism.

Lockdown inspired her small-scale fruit series, focusing on light and colour, while her expressive landscapes and abstracts reveal a deep connection to the natural world. Whether through a dandelion’s fragile form or a plum’s fleeting bloom, her art captures moments of quiet wonder.

Now a grandmother of six, Nancy continues to paint with joy, her work held in collections worldwide.
