On Sunday we held a children’s art event as part of our Jubilee celebrations. This ‘Paint a Corgi’ class was hosted by local artist, Daren Mason and was a huge success. Attendees were engaged and focused whilst creating their individual artworks, all of which were outstanding. One of our guests showed her artwork to her dog when she returned home, and she clearly agreed that it was amazing too!
We are passionate about inspiring creativity in young people. Developing an appreciation for art from a young age is something we strive to encourage by supporting children’s art education. We believe that by offering guidance during our classes, we can encourage children to express themselves through creativity and develop their self-confidence.
Enjoying a creative pursuit such as a painting class offers many developmental benefits for children. These include enhancing fine motor skills, enriching language skills, encouraging critical thinking, decision making and of course, social skills. Learning new skills with peers in an inspiring environment whilst having fun!
We plan to offer our next Children’s art class in the summer holidays – dates to be released soon!
