Sarah is a contemporary landscape painter living in Wokingham. She initially studied art at college, nurturing a love for painting that flourished during her early years. However, she set aside her artistic ambitions to pursue a career in clinical research and raise a family.
At age 47 Sarah’s life took an unexpected turn when she was diagnosed with breast cancer. Undergoing chemotherapy, she found herself physically and emotionally challenged. During this difficult period, Sarah rediscovered painting—an act that offered solace, purpose, and a means of expression when little else was possible. Painting became an essential part of her recovery.
Since then, Sarah has continued to paint, finding inspiration in the natural world and the changing skies above. Her work is distinguished by a deep appreciation for landscapes, nature, and, most notably, the ever-shifting drama of clouds and epic skies. Through her paintings, she captures the beauty, resilience, and sense of possibility that nature so generously provides. Each piece reflects her journey through adversity and stands as a testament to renewal, hope, and the healing power of art.
