Originally trained in fashion Nicky continues her love of textiles into her work today through her use of texture, pattern and mixed media materials. 
 
Creating her trees with a loose pointillist technique. Consisting of dots of paint varying in size, colour and tones. Often embellished with gold or silver leaf and sequins between the layers. This creates richness in the colour and a depth to the painting.
 
What is perhaps most beautiful about her work is that as you view the paintings light catches on the reflective surfaces hidden within the layers and you’ll see a little sparkle. Often changing depending on which side you’re viewing the work from and complementary to the colour of the tree.
 
These contemporary works will add a touch of luxury to any room.
