Beverley Warren

Beverley Warren
Beverley, a local artist in Wokingham, studied art in her school years unwillingly knowing that several years later, and a few career changes along the way, she rekindled her love for creativity. Lockdown served as a fantastic opportunity to reflect, and during this time allowed for self-exploration to help deliver a greener and sustainable approach to owning furniture to help the vastly changing world within which we live. The need for just acquiring furniture "off the shelf" ceased for a period and the desire to re-use became the popular, greener and available option to acquire furniture for the home. Taking that concept, Beverley has found her vocation in restoring and refurbishing pre-loved furniture. Some older style furniture is amazingly solid to work with, delivers beautiful craftsmanship of its time and was built to last. This provides a perfect canvas to create bespoke art furniture pieces. Each piece is uniquely created, one of a kind, never to be repeated. Beverley says the style and history of a piece of furniture will express its new unique design, and can vary from piece to piece. The final goal within this creativity is to deliver statement furniture with a punch and keep quality furniture from unnecessary landfill and waste, preserving history, one piece at a time.
